Stop using soap on your face! Facial skin cleansers have more advantages over a simple bar of soap and most shower gels. If you’re unhappy with your skin it might not be the blush or foundation you’re using it might be how you’re cleaning it.
Facial skin cleansers can be an inexpensive and effective way to achieve better, healthier skin. You have a wealth of choices with facial skin cleansers as well and you can find types to work with any skin type. You’re better off with skin cleansers rather than a bar of soap for a few things. Using bar soap on your face can sometimes do more harm than good. Bar soaps can cause acne or help existing acne thrive. Bar soaps will usually over dry the skin which will cause the sebaceous glands to produce more oil. These glands will overproduce this oil which will end up clogging a pore and result in acne.
A nice thing about facial cleansers is that you can find one no matter what type of skin you have. If you do have a problem with acne there are facial cleansers specifically made for your ailment. These types of facial cleansers will contain acne fighting medication and will often be gentler than other cleansers as to not aggravate the acne. They also make specific cleansers for people with dry, oily and normal skin.
When you are using your facial cleanser there are a few spots on the face to concentrate on. Like the chin, around the nose and the forehead. These areas of the face see a larger amount of dirt and oil buildup and are more likely to see a breakout of some kind. Whenever you’re washing your face make sure not to get any of the cleanser in your eyes or mouth.
